Real reasons rape isn’t funny:
every two minutes in the US someone is raped. These attacks primarily happen to women, however rape is a crime that dose not discriminate. Next to combat, rape is a leading cause of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); a stress disorder characterized by flashbacks. Flashbacks can be triggered by any of the senses, and cause a person to literally relive the traumatic experience they’ve had. Only 5% of rape victims report their assault.This is probably because alcohol and drugs are often ingested before, during, or after a rape has happen - leading people to be too afraid to report the abuse because victim blaming is a very real issue. 
What you may think is a “joke,” may just trigger a person to relive a horrible experience, not to mention making “rape jokes” perpetuates victim blaming - taking away form the seriousness of this crime and making it something comical and normalized. 

Rape is and never will be funny. In fact its a rather serious issue.
